Reading and writing changed my life and I hope to spread the love of reading and stories not only through my books but also by giving back to my community. I'm proud to be a part of Oakland Public Library's Books for Wider Horizons program where I have a blast singing and reading to students in the classrooms of Ms. Candice, Ms. Luthera, and Ms. Iris in Oakland Unified every Monday and Friday. A surprise guest and a game are always included!
But if you're not one of the lucky few in their classrooms, I plan to read my books in bookstores and libraries, so stay tuned!
